Homecare Services Products: Bedside Pressure Mats and Motion Detectors
These safety devices are now available for seniors in State College, PA
Many seniors who suffer from Alzheimer’s or another form of dementia tend to wander during the night. We understand that keeping your loved one safe is one of your top priorities. In order to ensure that your parent stays out of harm’s way, we have enriched our homecare services with a state-of-the-art line of products. With these devices, you can easily keep an eye on your senior while allowing them to maintain a level of independence.
Bedside pressure mats and motion detectors are just some of the products designed with our client’s well-being in mind. Ensuring that seniors in State College lead high-quality lives and achieve their full potential is one of our main goals. Apart from that, we want to provide their loved ones with a piece of mind.
Our bedside pressure mats are usually placed next to a senior’s bed. However, they can be also located anywhere your loved one prefers to sleep. If your parent often wakes up during the night, it is not a problem since our bed alarms can work 24 hours a day.
Bedside pressure mats can also be placed anywhere in your home, so you can easily put them wherever your loved one shouldn’t be wandering. They can be also easily turned off, so your parent’s homecare services provider can move freely around the house and assist your loved one with anything they need.
How Do They Work?
Once pressure is applied to the bed alarms, i.e. whenever your parent steps on one of these mats, an alarm will be triggered and alert our representatives at our SafetyChoice Centralized Monitoring Station. Rest assured that the station is staffed 24/7, so the moment they receive the notification that something is happening in your seniors home, our experts will act accordingly.
Infrared motion detectors are also a part of our SafetyChoice line of products. They are usually installed in the central area of senior’s home and just like pressure mats, they will signal the SafetyChoice Centralized Monitoring Station when activated. As soon as they receive the alert, our representatives will immediately call your loved one’s caregiver and find out what is happening. This way you will have a piece of mind knowing that your parent is always in safe hands, even when no one is there to keep an eye on them.
